The author expresses his gratitude to Emeritus Professor J. Medhi, a renowned expert on the science of statistics who personally did all the statistical calculations included in this work. We are equally obliged to Prof. A. K. Barbara and Prof. M. Devi who provided us with most of the essential data on solar energy variations and being astrophysicists they had to patiently suffer discourses on astrophysics made by a geologist.
